  • The Cellar Theatre, Sydney (map)

a Mishap-ridden Organisation of Improvised Stagecraft and Theatre (MOIST)
The brainchild of Felix Faber , in association with ITS and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse

April 26, 2019, 6pm - May 3, 2019, 6pm
The Cellar Theatre

A Mishap-ridden Organisation of Improvised Stagecraft and Theatre (MOIST) is SUDS and Improv Theatre Sydney's attempt to careen wildly into the history books; to break the surly bonds of human endurance and lick the face of God.

Over seven days, more than seventy performers will goof, gaffe, and riff their way through 168 hours of non-stop improvised theatre. It won't be fun, it won't be pleasant, and it almost definitely won't pay off - but MOIST is doing this. and you can't stop them.

All proceeds from MOIST will go to the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, a Camperdown-based not-for-profit providing cancer care and research to people who need it. Come along and watch us for as long as you can bear, for the low low price of a gold coin donation. Even if you can't attend the show, don't worry; it'll be livestreamed and there'll be plenty of opportunities to sponsor the show along the way.

Honi Soit review

“This marathon of intermingled references, in-jokes, and incorporations of post-it note ideas from a ‘suggestion box’ at stage left become a clear testament to the capabilities of the rabid performers’ minds.”
