Malu, a socially inept zookeeper of a rhinoceros, is in love with the girl next door, Ming Ming. Taking inspiration from the people around him, he slowly begins to learn the ways of making a woman fall in love with him. He is determined, despite Ming Ming’s seeming disinterest him, to end up with her eventually, no matter the cost…

Rhinoceros in Love, considered to be a ‘Love Bible’ in China, offers a unique perspective on what is right and wrong in love. This is the first time a Chinese playwright’s script has been voted into a SUDS slot, and we are excited to present to you this exciting contemporary work translated into English from Mandarin.
