Production callouts are now open for Slot 4’s Deathwatch- an absurdist play performed in drag!

Deathwatch is an absurdist play by French playwright Jean Genet, set in a prison, revolving around the power struggle between three prisoners- Maurice, Jules LeFranc and Green Eyes- as they express their admiration, jealousy, desire and inevitably their violence. In this production we will be stretching our creative muscles- bending the capabilities of costume, lights, set, sounds and everything atmospheric to create a singularly maddening experience. With assistant positions available for our new members, this is an opportunity to do some weird and wonderful production. 

CONTENT WARNINGS: Sexual References, Mild Coarse Language, Misogyny and Sexist, Language, Themes and References to Death, Violence, Onstage Depiction of Murder.

Online interviews will run from the 29th of Feb to the 6th of March. 

Callbacks running 7th & 8th of March.
