SUDS Attends: Dumb Kids at KXT Ultimo

We’ll meet at the Rose before the show for some drinks and chats before all heading to the Kings Cross Theatre (Ultimo) together - and keep your eyes peeled during the show for some fellow talented SUDSians, of past and present!

The play itself tells the story of ten diverse students in late high school dealing with their sexuaity and their gender identity. It is a coming-of-age story and an uplifting and affirming example of community for young queer people.

Dumb Kids was workshopped and set to be the SUDS major in 2021 (during Covid). The production is written by USYD alumni Jacob Parker and produced by USYD alumni Tom Hanaee. Director Sophia Bryant and Movement Director Emma Van Veen are also SUDS alumni with cast members Kate Wilkins and Rachel Seeto performing with SUDS in the past.
