The Cellar Theatre
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at sound design but don’t know where to start? Then come along to our sound design workshop!
Co-sound designers of Blithe Spirit, Jennifer Gao and Milly McPherson, will walk you through the work they’ve done for this production - the composition and editing software they’ve used, sound cues, how to use QLab - and you’ll be able to ask them questions on whatever you’d like to know about sound design.
We hope to see you there!
DIRECTIONS:
The Cellar can be found on Science Road: find the Host Co. sign, directly across from the carpark. There is a path to the left of the sign and the stairs that will take you under an archway. Follow that path and you’ll arrive
Any questions? Feel free to message the SUDS account, Mali Lung or Tom Findlay (SUDS Social Secretaries 2023), or simply send us an email at sudsthewash@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you there!
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY:
SUDS acknowledges that the University of Sydney and the Cellar Theatre reside on stolen land; the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. As a society that exists to tell stories, it is important to acknowledge that stories were being told on this land for thousands of years before British colonisation. SUDS pays respect to elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded – Always Was, Always Will Be Aboriginal Land.
