Martin is a widely acclaimed architect in the prime of his life. Stevie is his wife. They lead your typical left-wing proletarian life. Bevvies with the boys, a new vase of flowers on the table and a grapple with their daughter’s sexuality. But when Martin confides to his best friend about an affair with a “certain Sylvia,” he reveals he is a bit out of sorts. The negotiations of marriage, domestic life and sexuality come into question as Martin’s twenty-first century nuclear family challenges the lines society draws against the taboos of love.
