Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information is a kaleidoscope of vignettes. Doing away with conventional notions of character and linear structure, the play presents over one hundred characters in over fifty unrelated scenes. Churchill asserts herself as one of the great playwrights of our times with this relentlessly dynamic play and its infinite variety; offering us impeccably wrought microcosms of intimacy, isolation, and visions of our inevitable human desire for connection, and understanding.
