The Luscious Con Submarine
An Original Play by Will York
29 August - 1 September; 5-8 September
The Cellar Theatre
The Luscious Con Submarine, or rather a play based on the restless feeling that comes from waking up in a cold sweat. Nick, a local flower vase salesman, escapes his life’s problems to the desert only to become lost. He just can’t seem to put a finger on why everyone he meets seems to know more about him than he does them. The Luscious Con Submarine’s bedlam offers humble comedic after-thoughts on life, love and all things in between. As the audience and Nick both explore this familiar yet strange reality of popular culture references and smoking cacti, they must consider if dreams are ever worth it and most importantly if our dreams are supposed to teach us anything.
