We’re proud to be presenting this play for the first time on Australian shores! A Bright New Boise is a bleak comedy that mixes workplace drama with contemporary issues of alienation, disconnection, and spiritual longing.
In the corporate break room of a craft store in Idaho, someone is summoning The Rapture. Fleeing a scandal from his past life, Will comes to the Hobby Lobby looking for escape, employment, and a chance to rekindle a relationship with his son. But starting over is not that simple, and in one way or another, all the employees are struggling with their beliefs.
