“Because why do you propose an idea and try to convince those around you of it?”
“When you want it to be true.”
Alan Turing, Joan of Arc, and Vincent Van Gogh Walk Into A Bar revolves around a young girl of our unwritten future, entering into an unknown bar occupied by Alan Turing, a homosexual mathematician, Joan of Arc, the Saint of France, and Vincent Van Gogh, the artist. A play about historical revisionism, queer revisionism, and one’s legacy, Alan Turing, Joan of Arc, and Vincent Van Gogh Walk Into A Bar touches on what it means to be a person in history, and a person beyond.
