“You will always come back to me, because only I can give you what you really want”
15 year old Amy has been sent to a small town for the summer after her ex-boyfriend Josh posts a video of her giving him oral sex online. Working at her uncle’s DVD store, she meets Callum, a film major with an addiction to the pornography of Jenna Jamze. The humiliation she faces sends her on a crusade to be tough, ‘feminist’ and sexually empowered. She convinces herself that filming the loss of her virginity and making it public is the way to do this. Only how?
Project XXX takes a close look at modern feminism, the function of pornography in society and what empowerment really means. It’s confronting, relevant and opens up discussions that are firmly hidden behind closed doors.
