New to SUDS? Want to act? Not sure how the process works? You’re in the right place. Slot 3 is a performance showcase dedicated specifically to new SUDS members! This year, the theme of the showcase is ‘How Will I Know?’ We’ve had student writers working away over the holidays, responding creatively to this question in 5-10 minute pieces of stage writing! Now we need actors to bring them to life. Yes, that’s you!

Once you get the email with your audition time, come to the Cellar Theatre on Science Road.

The audition will be a GROUP audition. You’ll be provided with some scripts to read through on the day. You don’t need to prepare anything before you arrive. You can wear whatever you want. Everyone who auditions will get a role in the showcase. We can’t wait to meet you!

THE PERFORMANCES:
The performances will take place in Week 7 of semester one. The showcase will take place at 7pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. You will be allocated to two of these four evenings. We have so many pieces, we can’t put them all in one night! For example, you might be performing on Wednesday and Friday night, or Thursday and Saturday night. If you have any clashes with these dates (5-8 April), please be sure to let one of the executive team members at your audition know.
