ABOUT THE SHOW: The year is 1939, Germany has officially declared war and the Dictator has begun his radicalised mission to create a mistake-free ‘master-race’. But the weight of his mission lies not on him, but on the souls that have to carry out his dirty work. Set against the backdrop of a paediatric clinic, our tale reveals the harrowing story of Walter Fischer, a doctor burdened with the duty of selecting so-called "unfit" German children for the horrors of the concentration camps. As Walter journeys through the story, he encounters a host of compelling characters who challenge his conscience at every turn, shaking his resolve to its core.The crux of the drama unfolds in the silent flight which arises between Walter and his closest friend, Karl Schmidt, an SS Officer who personifies the ruthless zeal of patriotic obedience. Join us, as we explore his conflict, cowardice and courage in a 45- minute play, featuring a mesmerising Greek Chorus that breathes life into the story, weaving a spellbinding narrative that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
