Every February at the Seymour Centre, OnStage showcases exemplary individual projects by HSC Drama students. Similarly, ARTEXPRESS puts on a series of exhibitions of exemplary artworks from HSC art students, CALLBACK enlists exemplary dance performances and compositions, and ENCORE celebrates outstanding work from HSC music students.

Off-Offstage is a presentation of performances and projects that have been 'overlooked' by the NSW Education Standards Authority and the NSW Department of Education amidst these showcase selections.
This show is a collaborative, original, comedic, parody of HSC major work showcases. (i.e., a total piss-take).

We are looking to cast roughly 10 people to collaborate with us and devise content for a one hour show through various writing and improv workshops conducted over 10 weeks of rehearsal. We’ll write original stuff, draw from classic and contemporary texts and ~our political climate~ and just be really silly and have lots of fun. Once we’ve made enough material Rhayne and Kate will compile the best bits into a script, and cast the show!

If you like improv, taking the piss out of institutional drama, or you just have a grudge because you didn’t get picked for OnStage and want a chance to rework your IP or GP one last time…. This show is for you.
