The year is 1965. Y/n is just your average y/a protagonist. Caught up in Beatle-mania, nearing the end of a summer full of nothing, and on the precipice of an amazing transformation. You see, y/n’s father has just brought home a wondrous new gem from the bookshop - David Lynch’s masterpiece Dune. Arracket follows y/n as they go on the journey of a lifetime, transported into the world of the book through salacious fan fiction.
CONTENT WARNINGS:
- Coarse language.
- Sexually explicit language.
CAST:
- Y/n: a non-speaking role, y/n is a reserved and lonely 19-year- old who seeks solace through fiction. Interests include The Beatles, true crime, board games, and long walks on the beach. To audition for y/n, please prepare a 1-2 minute excerpt to read from a book.
- Saul: a speaking role, Saul acts as a mentor and love interest to y/n, guiding them through a journey of spice politics. Saul’s interests include The Shoes, fake crime, card games, and toes in sand. To audition for Saul, please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue.
